Church planting is more like custom craftsmanship than we give it credit for. It's been industrialized and monetized but rarely maximized. And while most planters start with noble intentions, the grind wears on leaders and the urge to copy someone else takes hold. But in church planting, there's not a one size strategy that fits all. And even when you think you get it dialed in, things change and surprises come. This is One Size Fits None: a collection of conversations with church planters telling their stories.

Austin Coleman

In 2010, while a freshman in college, God placed a vision to start a church on Austin’s heart. In September 2020, in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, that vision became a reality; Heart and Soul Church was born! After moving to Knoxville on March 1 with an incredible launch plan, the world shut down on March 15 causing pivots and changes. This was uncharted territory, so he knows first hand that one size really fits none.
Austin lives in Knoxville, TN with his wife Sara, sons Cash and Kobe, and daughter Sadie. Austin also speaks at youth events in the southeast as well as mentors and encourages other church planters.
